The things I’m grateful for today |#5MinuteJournal #ThankfulThursday

Today, I’m thankful for a lot. The sun has been shining and I hope to have a very good and effective work day. Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately?) today is my day off from the gym so I can chill and relax! Okay, that was way too enthusiastic for someone who is working hard to adopt a healthy lifestyle, right? Oh well, what can I say… I enjoy working out, but I also enjoy netflix, books, food, my cats… and a lot more. Guilty pleasures? Nah… I don’t think so.

I find it sometimes so hard to work on my goals. For a long time I didn’t know what I wanted to do, what I wanted to achieve. I did had a vague idea, but nothing concrete… anything I could really work with. Since I got closer to more and more details, it has been pretty hard to actually find the first step in all the chaos. But I know that it is amazingly important to keep a clear head now, and make organizing a priority.

Life has a way of swinging us through life. Sometimes we feel like we’re so high, almost flying… and there are times that we feel that we’re falling so fast. At some point we found ourselves at such a low point, that we suddenly feel stressed and powerless, not understanding how we could have ever been so high while looking up. We think we won’t ever be able to find a way again to get to that high level, but trust me… Life will swing us back up before we know it. Never forget.

My 5 Minute Journal:

I am grateful for…

  1. For being able to find the time to go to the gym.
  2. For living so close to my parents.
  3. For still being young and having enough time to choose whatever I want to do for the rest of my life.

What will I do to make today great?

  1. I will finish my trello to-do list today.
  2. I will do some weightlifting before sleep.
  3. I will drink a lot of green tea.
